By Car: From M5 take junction 27 onto the A361, bypass Tiverton and stay on
the road through Barnstaple to Ilfracombe. Alternatively at South Molton take
the A399 scenic drive to the coast.
By Coach: National Express and other operators leave London Victoria, as well as
other major cities and towns. Most connect or transfer at Taunton, Exeter or
Barnstaple with some direct routes to Ilfracombe.
By Train: Intercity trains to Exeter, change to the scenic Tarka Line for onward
travel to Barnstaple, with coach, bus or taxi connections to Ilfracombe.
By Air: New routes from across the country now arrive at Bristol and Exeter
with car hire and public transport links to Ilfracombe.
